Activator / accelerator for instant (cyanoacrylate) adhesives in aerosol packaging with reduced content of hazardous substances. It is used to accelerate the curing of instant adhesives in conditions unfavorable to their natural curing (by reaction with air humidity or water contained in glued parts) in a dry environment, in the cold, when gluing inactive materials or when applying a thick layer of glue. The product contains its own component activating the polymerization of the instant adhesive, solvent and propellant gas (propane / butane). For this reason, it must not be used for bonding materials that are not resistant to organic solvents (eg expanded polystyrene).
Application: The activator is applied from a distance of 20-25 cm on clean and dry surfaces, the optimal range of working temperatures is + 10 ° C to + 30 ° C. You can apply it in one of two basic ways:
Small parts: Apply the activator to one glued surface and let it dry (it remains active for several hours). Then apply the instant adhesive to the second contact surface and apply the parts.
Large parts: Apply instant glue to one contact surface, press the parts and spray the joint with an activator.
Suitable for: instant adhesives when bonding materials resistant to organic solvents.
Not suitable for: expanded polystyrene and other materials that are not resistant to organic solvents or elevated temperature (accelerated polymerization of the adhesive can release a significant amount of heat leading to heating of the bonded joint and its surroundings - the greater the more adhesive was used).
Storage: in a tightly closed container, in a cool, dry and dark place (at a temperature of + 5 ° C to + 25 ° C). Do not expose to temperatures below + 2 ° C.
Shelf life: If the conditions of proper storage are observed, we guarantee shelf life in unopened original packaging for a period of 1 year while maintaining the above properties of the product.
The product contains substances classified as dangerous within the meaning of Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008.
