The so-called Minaret Lednice is located in the town of Lednice in the Czech Republic, in the South Moravian country. It is one of the most interesting architectural structures built in the palace gardens in Lednice and is an integral part of the Lednice-Valtice complex. The building was erected in the so-called Moorish style in 1797-1802, designed by J. Hardmuth. The construction of the tower was related to the reconstruction of the palace in Lednice in the neo-Gothic style by Jerzy Wingelmüller. Despite its common name, the object it does not have a religious function by any means, but is thoroughly useful - it is a very impressive lookout tower. Its total height is 60 meters, and reaching its top requires climbing 302 steps. The facility also has three viewing galleries. Today, the so-called The Lednica Minaret is open to visitors and is not a small tourist attraction.
